The FAMiLY LEADER’s annual event brings conservative families from Iowa and around the country for a day of “education, motivation, and inspiration.”

On Saturday, August 9th, conservative Iowans will convene at the Stephens Auditorium on the campus of Iowa State University in Ames for the 3rd Annual FAMiLY LEADERSHIP SUMMIT. Conservative leaders from around the country, including the Benham Brothers, Governor Mike Huckabee, and Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council, will be on hand to help educate and mobilize conservatives wishing to apply their values to issues that impact the family.

2nd Vote will be on hand to network with and educate Iowans that share common values on issues that impact the family such as religious liberty, life, and limited government. The 2nd Vote user app provides a valuable tool for conservatives who wish to use their shopping habits to promote those values.

Chris Walker, 2nd Vote’s Executive Director, said, “Conservative Iowans take their role in the political process very seriously because the eyes of the country are on them. At 2nd Vote, we strive to give them a resource that allows them to vote their values with their wallet in addition to caucusing and in addition to voting.”

By utilizing the 2nd Vote app, Iowans and conservatives across the country have access fact-based research in the palm of their hands that shows which companies support their values.

“We welcome all attendees to come by our booth at The FAMiLY LEADERSHIP SUMMIT to learn more about where their dollar goes once they’ve spent it,” Walker said.

The FAMiLY LEADERHIP SUMMIT is hosted by The FAMiLY LEADER, an Iowa based organization that “provides a consistent, courageous voice in the churches, in the legislature, in the media, in the courtroom, in the public square…” More information on The FAMiLY LEADER and the SUMMIT can be found at
