A Win for Conservatives: Costco Reverses Decision

Costco has reversed its decision to remove Dinesh D’Souza’s book, “America: Imagine the World Without Her,” from its stores.
Costco has reversed the decision to remove Dinesh D’Souza’s book, “America: Imagine the World Without Her,” from their stores.  2nd Vote users and fellow conservatives answered the call and showed that we can make a difference when we make sure our voices are heard.

Costco publicly has stated that it is bringing the book back because the book is now selling well (the book now sits at the No. 1 spot overall on Amazon.com’s bestseller list).  However, Costco Chief Financial Officer Richard Galanti was unable to answer detailed questions about how D’Souza’s “America” was selling in comparison with other books currently on sale in Costco stores nationwide.

Costco may have reversed its decision last night on this book, but it is an important reminder that conservatives need to remain vigilant against these types of anti-conservative activities at some of our nation’s larger corporations. 2nd Vote is the tool conservatives need to help align their dollars with more conservative alternatives.  This is a perfect opportunity to share it with some of your fellow conservatives and remain engaged every day.

With Suntrust and now Costco, we are seeing that conservatives can be heard when these liberal-leaning companies make these types of decisions.  2nd Vote will continue to bring awareness to corporate activity like this, and we hope that you will help us get the word out to create more wins like we have just seen with Costco.
