The Hospital Corporation of America (HCA Holdings) is the largest private health care operator in the world with hospitals and surgery centers in both the US and the UK. HCA Holdings was founded in 1968 in Nashville, TN. Today, HCA Holdings is comprised of 165 hospitals and 115 freestanding surgery center, employing 204,000 people.
