Honda Motor Company Ltd. produces automobiles, ATVs, motorcycles, power products, marine engines, and personal watercraft as well as Acura motor vehicles. Honda began production in Japan in 1946 making motorcycles and expanded to the US in 1959. Honda has partnered with The Nature Conservancy, an organization that supports cap-and-trade legislation, through vehicle donations. Honda and the World Wildlife Fund have partnered together since 2008 to establish the WWF- Honda Marine Parks Programme. The WWF-Honda Marine Parks Programme works to protect and promote marine protected areas. The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) supports cap-and-trade and carbon tax legislation. The WWF objects to further oil and gas development, including construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.
