Colorado Environmentalists Turn In Forged Signatures, Fail To Get Anti-Fracking Initiatives On Ballot

Earlier in August, liberal environmentalists in Colorado claimed they had turned in enough signatures to get anti-hydraulic fracturing, or anti-fracking, measures on the ballot for the November election.

However, the Washington Examiner is reporting that not enough signatures are valid and many signatures may have been forged.

Environmental groups like The Sierra Club and Greenpeace have supported the efforts to allow local governments to ban fracking, even though such measures could harm job creation in Colorado.
