EpiPen Distributor Tied to Clinton Foundation

The Daily Callershutterstock_473806648 is reporting that Mylan, the distributor of the EpiPen, is a also donor to the Clinton Foundation.

The American-Dutch pharmaceutical company came under fire this week with news that the price of the EpiPen had risen to $461.

According to The Daily Caller:

The company partnered in 2009 with the Clinton Foundation to provide a lower-cost alternative for four HIV drugs. Clinton Foundation records show that Mylan has donated between $100,000 and $250,000 to the Foundation. It is not clear when the donation was made, but it likely corresponded with the 2009 partnership.

The article also mentioned that Mylan’s CEO is the daughter of Democratic West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin who is a supporter of Hillary Clinton’s candidacy.
