Our goal at 2ndVote is to keep you informed on causes that corporations are supporting with your money, in order to ensure that they are held accountable for their actions.
Here are some of the key findings and data points of interest discovered in our recent research:
United Parcel Service (UPS – 1.49) – UPS has taken one of the most anti-2nd Amendment stances of any company in the 2ndVote database. The shipping company has instituted policies that seemingly allow them to track firearm purchases and the information of those that have purchased them. This has even led to an inquiry by several members of Congress due to possibilities of federal law enforcement agencies being able to bypass the warrant process and access what would essentially be a gun owner registry.
O’Reilly Automotive (2.96) – If it were not for their partnership with the United Way, O’Reilly Automotive would have a composite score above 3.00, and would be eligible for endorsement from 2ndVote as an acceptable company to shop with.
7-Eleven (3.63) – 7-Eleven has donated over half a million dollars to various veterans’ affairs and police organizations, and partners with others to promote positive growth in relationships between police officers and the communities they serve in.
