Here are some of the key findings and data points of interest discovered in our recent research:

Tractor Supply Co. (1.86) – While most may assume that being a farming and blue-collar work supply retailer would make Tractor Supply Co. a supporter of conservative causes, in fact, the opposite is true. Large donations to a chapter of the United Way that supports Planned Parenthood make for low scores on Life. Additionally, high scores on the HRC Corporate Equality Index, as well as being a signatory to the CEO Action Pledge for Diversity and Inclusion results in low scores on Basic Freedoms as well.

Macy’s (1.54) – Macy’s is one of the poorest scoring department stores in the 2ndVote database. A plethora of liberal actions contributes to low scores across nearly every issue; the worst of which includes membership in the HRC’s Coalition for the Equality Act, which infringes on religious liberty rights, and a recent abortion trafficking policy that promises to help employees seek abortions across state lines.

Microsoft, Inc. (1.21) – Microsoft earns bottom-of-the-barrel scores on nearly every key issue. However, its one redeeming quality is that the tech giant is a colossal supporter of charter schools and school choice; with literal tens of millions of dollars donated to support charter school programs, over $23.7 million to be precise, earning high scores on education.
