Our goal at 2ndVote is to keep you informed on causes that corporations are supporting with your money, in order to ensure that they are held accountable for their actions.
Here are some of the key findings and data points of interest discovered in our recent research:
Domino’s Pizza, Inc. (2.04) – While Dominos appears to be highly active in liberal activism because they have received penalties on all but one key issue, there is very little variety in the scorable actions on their record. In fact, Domino’s only has relationships with two organizations, those being the HRC and the National Urban League, of which happen to be activist organizations on multiple issues; resulting in points lost across the board.
TripAdvisor, Inc. (1.95) – Despite having a relatively small number of scorable actions on their record, for TripAdvisor, the actions that they do have constitute harsh penalties to the scores due to sizeable dollar amounts on their donation to the United Way of Mass. Bay (which supports Planned Parenthood), and their strong commitment to HRC principles.
SuperValu, Inc. (2.18) – All of SuperValu’s scorable actions, which consist of partnerships with the ACLU, the NAACP, and support for the CEO Action Pledge for Diversity and Inclusion, are actually attributable to their parent company, United Natural Foods, of which they have been a wholly owned subsidiary since 2016.
