Our goal at 2ndVote is to keep you informed on causes that corporations are supporting with your money, in order to assure that they are held accountable for their actions.
Here are some of the key findings and data points of interest discovered in our recent research:
Academy Sports & Outdoors, Inc. (3.81) – Rather than following governance trends of corporate America and adopting a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policy, Academy Sports utilizes its own “Diversity, Belonging, and Inclusion” (DBI) framework that emphasizes hiring and promoting employees solely based on merit, and not on other characteristics like race, ethnicity, sex, or sexual orientation.
Microsoft, Inc. (1.21) – Microsft is possibly one of the most pro-abortion companies in the 2ndVote database with over $49.5 million dollars donated to pro-abortion causes and organizations that advocate for abortion access or otherwise maintain pro-abortion stances. Additionally, Microsoft recently instituted an abortion trafficking policy in which the company will reimburse employees who travel out of state to seek abortion services.
Walmart, Inc. (1.38) – Despite donating over $550,000 to nonprofits that oppose RFRA policies, Walmart donated over $3.6 million to Christian or faith-based organizations, resulting in a ratio of 6.5:1 in favor of faith-based support.
