Planned Parenthood Attempts To Silence California Journalists From Uncovering Further Truth

California legislators passed a Planned Parenthood-backed bill this week that will prevent citizens and journalists from investigating any “health care providers” in an undercover manner. The videos released last summer by the Center for Medical Progress that revealed Planned Parenthood’s baby body part for profit scandal has sparked the organization to try to stop any further exposal of their horrendous practices.

California Assembly Bill 1671 will make it a criminal act to record any undercover videos of “health care providers,” which will include abortion clinics. According to LifeNews, during the debate, California Senator John Moorlach, used an insightful comparison to disclose the absurdity of the situation:

“When ‘60 Minutes’ uses a hidden camera and discovers a unique story, it’s called outstanding journalism, [b]ut when a private citizen does it and unmasks a very, very unpleasant truth, it’s a call for legislation.”

This bill should be a red flag to the public that Planned Parenthood knows it has been caught and is now desperately trying to cover itself and its deceitful business practices.

President and founder of Live Action, Lila Rose, made the following statement in regards to the bill:

“… instead, it puts Planned Parenthood above the law and lets it hide potentially illegal and abusive activity from the public view.”

The organization was recently caught in an overbilling scandal within the state of Wisconsin, and this is not the first time the abortion provider has operated fraudulently. We must not sit back and allow Planned Parenthood to continue operating under its crooked track record.

Corporations are assisting Planned Parenthood by providing funds either directly or through third party groups. We have put together a resource page, so that you can be aware of exactly which companies are funding the largest abortion provider in the country.
