14 Feb The Company Contrast – Adidas
Each week 2ndVote takes a look at a popular company that scores poorly on the 2ndVote scoring system and then provides some better alternatives for you to easily align your shopping dollars with your values. This series is called The Company Contrast, and the company we will be focusing on this week is Adidas (2.1 – lean liberal).
Adidas is the largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe, and is the second largest in the world, behind Nike. Although Adidas is an extremely popular brand, especially among the younger population, buying their products undermines your values based on their support of the leftist agenda.
Adidas scores a 2.1 based on 2ndVote’s scoring system because of its contributions and affiliation with organizations like The Trevor Project, and also its “stamp of approval” from the HRC. Both of these organizations support and fund the attack on Religious Freedom and traditional marriage.
Fortunately, when you are in need of athletic clothing and don’t want to sacrifice your conservative views, there are a few better alternatives. You can try shopping with companies like Champion, Alexo Athletica or maybe even Land’s End who has some activewear offerings. These companies are committed to their customers rather than the leftist agenda, making them a great alternative to Adidas.
