21 Jan The Company Contrast – PepsiCo
Each week 2ndVote takes a look at popular companies that either score well or score poorly and then provides alternatives that either better align with the 2ndVote values or should be avoided to the best of your ability. This series is called The Company Contrast, and the company we will be focusing on this week is PepsiCo (1.17).
As one of the leading soda producers in the country, PepsiCo enjoys a long history of commercial success and a large market share in America. However, PepsiCo should remember that their success stems from the support of their customers and those that purchase their products, not the woke crowd that is always pushing companies to adopt their leftist agendas. Unfortunately, PepsiCo has an extensive record of liberal activism to include direct contributions to Planned Parenthood and other organizations that support Planned Parenthood. Although PepsiCo also donates to organizations like The Salvation Army as well, it’s simply not enough to make up for their support of abortion and other liberal agendas like anti-religious liberty policies, alarmist environmentalism, and more. For these actions, PepsiCo earns the lowest scores on most of the 2ndVote key issues.
On the other hand, with it being the turn of the new year, there are plenty of people that make New Year’s Resolutions to be and live healthier. Fortunately, if you’re trying to kick a soda habit, you can depend on La Croix (3.00) sparkling water to help show PepsiCo what it means to simply stick to business and stay out of politics. Scoring a 3.00 on all 2ndVote key issues, La Croix offers a neutral option to consumers that won’t betray their values or their hard-earned dollar!
